This is an essential isolation step to ensure that the air-gapped environment is further protected from any potential cyber threats. Sending the CDR’ed Copy to an Immutable Object Storage that cannot be modified, ensures that the Backup copies themselves cannot ever be modified, Additionally, using Object Storage helps to optimize storage costs and provide scalability.
