AsiaPac Technology has been actively involved in fostering this transition, notably through its collaboration with the Singapore Institute of Management Group Limited. In May 2022, AsiaPac initiated the Youth Academy Work Study Train Programme, a groundbreaking initiative for students passionate about the ICT sector. Successful students from SIM University of Wollongong (UOW) degree programs were offered full-time employment at AsiaPac Technology while pursuing their degrees part-time at SIM.
This program goes beyond conventional education, offering students on-the-job training at AsiaPac Technology, coupled with technology product trainings and certifications from an extensive network of partners, including industry giants like Amazon Web Services, Microsoft, Google, Cisco, and UiPath. Students will be immersed in AsiaPac Technology’s suite of solutions, covering intelligent edge devices, data center modernization, and multi-cloud services for digital transformation.
Over the past 18 months, the program has significantly transformed the careers of participating students, garnering overwhelming success stories and glowing testimonials from the customers they support. This initiative is not just about education; it serves as a launchpad into a thriving IT career, supported by the expertise of AsiaPac Technology.
AsiaPac Technology expresses heartfelt gratitude to SIM for the opportunity to connect and contribute to helping students navigate their educational journeys and explore diverse career pathways.
